How we work
A finished room, not a project. Here, in plain terms, is how a lamp, a mirror or a stool makes it into the catalogue, who makes it, what the price covers and what the images on this site show.

The selection, piece by piece
We start from what a room needs: a bedside table, a hallway, a desk, a reading corner. For each need we compare several designs and look at the details that decide whether a piece works at home: its dimensions, its weight, how it fixes or assembles, the bulb it takes, what comes in the box. Only the pieces that pass go online.
The catalogue is deliberately short, and we would rather it stayed that way. Our first pieces are arriving now, and a piece that disappoints customers will be withdrawn, even if it sells.
Our workshops and makers
We do not manufacture ourselves. We work with a small number of European workshops and manufacturers, each chosen for one family of products. We choose every piece one by one with them, and a product only goes online once its full technical sheet is complete.
Each product page sets out the materials, dimensions, weight, standards and what is in the box.
Delivery and breakages
Delivery is free on orders from €89, to your door. In the UK it takes about 5 to 8 working days, and the exact date is shown on the product page and in your basket.
You receive the tracking number by email as soon as your parcel is on its way, so you know when to expect it.
If the parcel arrives damaged, send us a photo within 48 hours: we send a new piece and you return nothing.
What the price covers
The price on each product page is the full price. It covers making the piece and its materials, packaging and delivery to your door, VAT at the UK rate of 20%, the service around it (a 2-year guarantee, breakages handled, a real person who answers) and our margin, which pays for choosing the pieces and producing the images. We have no shops and no middlemen. Prices are shown in euros for now, including VAT, and delivery is free from €89.
Our images
Packshots on a white background show the product as delivered, with its real proportions, materials and finishes. The room photos on the site (living room, hallway, landing, kitchen) give the spirit of a space and the scale of a piece of furniture; they are not a promise about a specific product. As soon as a real photo of a delivered product exists, it goes on its product page.
Reviews
We only show reviews from customers whose order has been delivered, collected after delivery, with their first name, their country and the finish they bought. The brand has just opened, so reviews will come with the first orders, and we will not pad the count in the meantime. We do not publish supplier reviews or reviews from another shop, and we do not delete a negative review: we reply to it.
Who answers
A real person, by email, Monday to Friday, within 24 working hours. Their first name and the contact address appear on the help page and in every order email. The seller's full details are in our legal notice and our terms and conditions.
