Terms and conditions of sale

Last updated: 20 October 2026.

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all sales made through the website toveandco.com to customers with a delivery address in the United Kingdom. The website is operated by NEXUS SYNERGY - FZCO (trading as "TOVE & CO"), a company incorporated in the United Arab Emirates under licence number 49338 issued by the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority. By placing an order, you accept these terms. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Products

TOVE & CO sells lighting, mirrors, occasional furniture and decorative objects. Products are not made to order: they are sold in the finishes and dimensions stated on each product page.

Photos on a plain background show the product as delivered. Room photos are interior photographs that give a feel for a space and the scale of a piece; only the details on the product page form part of the contract. Slight differences in shade between your screen and the product may occur, particularly with natural materials (linen, oak, brushed brass), and do not in themselves make the product faulty.

3. Prices and VAT

Prices are shown including VAT. For delivery to the United Kingdom, UK VAT at the current standard rate of 20% is included in the price displayed. The delivery country, the currency and the VAT applied are shown in the basket and before payment.

Home delivery is free on orders of €89 or more including VAT, after any discount; below that, it costs €20 including VAT, shown in the basket and before payment. Nothing further is payable when the parcel is delivered.

TOVE & CO may change its prices at any time. Products are charged at the price in force when the order is confirmed. When a price is reduced, the reference price shown is the lowest price charged during the thirty days before the reduction.

4. Orders

You select your products, choose a finish where relevant, check the order summary (items, prices, delivery country, VAT, estimated delivery date) and then proceed to payment. The contract is formed when you click "Pay now". A confirmation email with your order details and invoice is sent automatically once payment has been accepted.

You may change or cancel your order free of charge as long as it has not been dispatched, by writing to customer service. After dispatch, cancellation falls under the right to cancel (section 7).

TOVE & CO may refuse or cancel an order in the event of an obvious pricing error, if the product is unavailable or if fraud is suspected; you will be informed and refunded in full within 14 days.

5. Payment

Payment is taken online when you order, in a single payment, by debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payment is secured and processed by our PCI-DSS certified payment providers (Stripe). No card details are stored on our servers.

6. Delivery

Orders are dispatched within 2 working days of payment being accepted, or 5 working days for products marked "Large parcel". Delivery to the United Kingdom then takes around 5 to 8 working days; details are on the delivery and returns page and the estimated date is shown before payment. Delivery is made to your door, at the address you give, with tracking.

The goods remain at our risk until they are delivered to you or to a person you have named. A parcel with no tracking movement for 10 working days is investigated and sent again without waiting for the outcome.

7. Right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to cancel the contract, without giving any reason.

To cancel, tell us by email or with the cancellation form, or by any other clear statement. Return the goods within 14 days of telling us, complete and in their original packaging. Return postage is paid by you; you are told this on every product page and before payment.

TOVE & CO refunds the price of the goods and the original delivery charge at the standard rate within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of receiving proof that you have sent them if earlier, to the payment method used for the order. We may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling the goods more than was necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

8. Damaged or incorrect products

If a product arrives damaged or does not match your order, please tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of the product and of the packaging, so that we can act quickly. TOVE & CO sends a new product at no cost, without you having to return the damaged one, or refunds you in full if the product is no longer available. This 48-hour request is for speed only: it does not limit your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Your legal rights and our guarantee

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you are entitled to reject them and receive a full refund within 30 days of delivery; after that, or if you prefer, you may ask for a repair or replacement and, if that fails, a price reduction or refund. You can bring a claim for up to six years from delivery (five years in Scotland).

In addition, TOVE & CO gives a free commercial guarantee of 2 years from delivery on all products. During those 24 months, we do not ask you to prove that a fault existed on delivery. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them. Conditions, exclusions and timings are set out on the guarantee page.

10. Complaints

Please send any complaint to customer service, hello@toveandco.com, with your order number and, if relevant, photos. First reply within 24 working hours, Monday to Friday.

11. Personal data

See our privacy policy.

12. Intellectual property

The product designs, text and images on the website belong to NEXUS SYNERGY - FZCO or its partners. Any reproduction without written permission is prohibited.

13. Resolving disputes

If something goes wrong, please write to us first at hello@toveandco.com: a person reads every message and we aim to settle complaints amicably. If you are not satisfied with our final reply, or have no reply within 30 days, you remain free to bring a claim before the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live, including through the small claims procedures. Free, independent advice is available from Citizens Advice (consumer helpline).

The European Online Dispute Resolution platform does not apply to consumers in the United Kingdom.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the United Arab Emirates. However, if you live in the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the part of the United Kingdom where you live (England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland). After an attempt to resolve the matter amicably, you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live or in those of the company's registered office, as you choose.
